John H.F. Douglas III, a distinguished figure in the world of barbering and education, serves as the CEO, Master Barber, and Instructor at FADEOLOGIST INC. With a notable background of 8 years of service in the U.S. Navy Reserve and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia, John is also a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. His journey in the barber industry began at a young age when he started cutting hair at 14 in his parents’ basement, and it was during his college years as an apprentice at The Master's Dens Barbershop that he realized his true calling and passion for the industry.
Establishing FADEOLOGIST INC. in Atlanta, Georgia on July 11, 1995, John has since expanded the business to its third location where it echos the first two by standing as a beacon of excellence in the surrounding community.
Beyond providing exceptional barber services, John, a devoted husband and father, goes above and beyond to spread hope and inspiration to all who walk through the doors of FADEOLOGIST. His dedication to nurturing the spirit and emotions of his clients sets him apart, ensuring that individuals not only leave with impeccable grooming but also with a renewed sense of self-worth and purpose.
In addition to his current initiatives, John envisions a future where FADEOLOGIST expands through franchising barbershops and barber schools, sharing his innovative approach to "Haircuts to A Science" in major cities worldwide.
